I’m fascinated by this image.  Thinking that it was taken in the late 1950s or early ’60s, perhaps for a print ad?  I have no idea how I came across it. I think of myself ideally as an ocean shore dweller, and if I can’t sustain that economically, then off to the Cali desert — but a dream cabin in a forest-like setting?  The skies would be clearer at night.  The isolation component is there, as well.  Maybe that’s what triggered this.
